  • Laboratory and in-situ evaluation of thermophysical properties of construction materials;
  • Field monitoring and modelling of the thermal performance of building components and construction systems (e.g. double-skin façades, shading devices on fenestration systems, solar window films on glazing, rammed earth walls and compressed earth blocks, green roofs and walls);
  • Building energy simulation;
  • wind action and natural ventilation of buildings;
  • In-service inspections with non-destructive testing methods.
