Laura is a Biological Engineer since 2004 having a PhD in Civil Engineering from IST since 2015, the year she joined CERIS team.
Laura has about 10 years of experience in research having participated in several national and European R&D projects (FP6 TECHNEAU, Prepared FP7). Her expertise is mostly in drinking water quality and safety. In her doctoral thesis she developed and applied chlorine decay models in water transmission and distribution systems.
She is currently a member of the LIFE Smart Water Supply System (SWSS) project team and is studying the energetic performance of water supply systems.
